March 9-10, 20102010 K-Swiss Desert Smash
The 2010 K-Swiss Desert Smash, benefiting the Children's Charity of the Desert, will be held March 9, and March 10, at the La Quinta Resort and Club in La Quinta.
The Pro Exhibition is free to the public and reserved seating is also available. Tickets for the Exhibition, Gala, and Golf are available on-line at www.desertsmash.com, or by phone at (760) 773-9800.

17th Annual Palm Desert Senior Cup
The 17th annual Palm Desert Senior Cup will be held March 22-25, in Palm Desert, California. The format is team doubles for men and women. Teams consist of 7 players plus subs. Round robin format. Guaranteed two to four team matches (8 game pro-set) per day for 3 days. Top teams from each division will play in the finals on March 25th. Tennis Teaching Pro Championship
Mark your calendars now for the annual Coachella Valley Tennis Teaching Pro Championships. The Indian Ridge Country Club is host to this fun event where you can watch the teaching pros from your club compete against pros from other clubs.
The event will run from April 21 through April 25, and is free to the public. The public is also invited to a gala banquet on April 21to honor International Tennis Hall of Famer, Rosie Casals, hosted by actor Tom Bosley. Click here to view the informational flyer on the event.

Peter Burwash International Tennis Show
Every Saturday from Mid-December through April, from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Billed as the "Harlem Globetrotters of Tennis", this show will tickle your funny bone as well as challenge your mind. Followed by a fun tennis festival featuring a serve speed-check, a racquet demo court, and special prizes. The PBI Tennis Show has performed in 99 countries worldwide for heads of state, charity events and many professional tournaments. Cost: FREE
The Show is held at the JW Marriott, 74855 Country Club Dr., Palm Desert.
Indian Wells Tennis Garden Stadium Tour
Each Saturday at 12:00 noon, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the home of the 5th largest tennis tournament in the world, the BNP Paribas Open, offers free stadium tours. Tours last approximately 45 minutes and are free to the public. You are encouraged to bring your cameras. Tours begin in the Pro Shop.
